Site visits are carried out in February and March for spring plantings, and in July, August and early September for fall plantings. You will need to be available for a two-hour period on a weekday.
The contact person, as well as a representative from the grounds or maintenance department, should be present for the appointment. Think about where you would like the trees planted prior to the visit and prepare any questions you may have regarding the choice of species and location.
During your site visit we will...
- Assist you in selecting appropriate species and planting locations
- Provide you with a customized information package suited to your needs
- Request payment by cash, cheque or VISA
- Complete a siting form that will also serve as your receipt. As a non-profit group we require pre-payment for any delivery or planting activity.

Please note
LEAF is a non-profit group. Unlike commercial nurseries, we do not build the cost of a one-year guarantee into our plant materials. Proper planting techniques and a follow-up maintenance plan will ensure good plant health. We encourage particpants to contact us if they have problems or questions. We do our best to assist you in addressing any problems, but keep in mind that we do not offer a replacement guarantee.
We require 48 hours notice for appointment cancellations or a $40 fee will apply.
