Tree Tenders Volunteer Training - Toronto Botanical Garden

This multi-day course is designed for individuals who want to gain tree-related knowledge and skills. If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about trees, and how to properly care for them then this course for you!

Each session provides basic arboriculture training which includes a combination of indoor and outdoor instruction, including a group tree planting. This course qualifies for ISA Continuing Education Units (CEU). 

Accessibility: Classroom is wheelchair accessible.  Outdoor course activities include neighbourhood/park walks on paved and unpaved surfaces and a group tree planting.

Course includes four sessions:
Wed., Oct. 17th, 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Thurs., Oct. 18th, 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Sat., Oct. 20th, 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Tues., Oct. 23rd, 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
