This webinar series will be led by a group of youth from across the GTA who have been learning about the urban forest through our Young Urban Forest Leaders Program
(YUFL) program. YUFL is a free training and mentorship program that seeks to support Toronto youth from historically excluded groups within arboriculture and urban forestry, including (but not limited to) women, non-binary people, Indigenous peoples, newcomers, LGBTQ+ persons and racialized individuals.
Join us for just one or all four! Each night, our Young Urban Forest Leaders (YUFL) will showcase new species, so attend all four presentations to make the most of the webinar series!
Event attendees may be eligible to receive free native shrubs (conditions apply). Register and join us through Zoom to learn more!
Registrants will be provided a Zoom meeting link and password to join the event the week of the webinar.
The event will be delivered online and can be accessed through a web browser or an electronic device with the Zoom app. Internet access is required. For accessibility questions, please contact Lam Tran, lam[at]yourleaf.org or call 416 413 9244 x15.
