Join us for a guided tree tour through Colonel Samuel Smith Park! LEAF’s certified arborist will lead the tour and share seasonal tips on tree identification. Focusing on buds, flowers, and fruits in the spring, we’ll then return to the same trees in the fall to look at fall colour, bark and leaf shape.

This event is part of a two-part series which will allow participants to tour the same route in spring and fall to discuss varying tree identification techniques.

Please meet at the welcome sign at the east corner of last parking lot at the end of Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive.

Tour Leader: Brenna Anstett

Brenna holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Environmental Governance from the University of Guelph. She is also an ISA certified arborist.

Eligible participants who attend the tour have the option to receive 1.5 ISA Continuing Education Units (CEU's).
