Beaver Greenway (parking available at Bayview Hill Community Centre &Pool. Meet at the planting site east of the Spadina Road Parkette. Entrance to the trail is across the street from the community centre at the intersection of Weldrick Rd E & Spadina Rd)

Join us for a family-friendly afternoon of planting native trees and shrubs in Richmond Hill! Get your hands dirty and help grow the urban forest.

Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Planting event will take place from 1:00PM – 3:00PM. 

Please wear:

  • Closed-toe shoes or boots – no sandals, please!
  • Gardening gloves, if you have them (we will have extras) 
  • Appropriate clothing – the event runs rain or shine

Please bring multiple filled water bottles (there will be no water refill station on site).

Participation is limited and registration is required. No day of/walk-in sign ups.

This event will be in accordance with all municipal and provincial COVID-19 guidelines, as well as LEAF precautionary measures.
