This event is in partnership with the Township of King and supported by Ontario Power Generation, GrandTrees/Canadian Trees For Life and the Regional Municipality of York.

Join us for a family-friendly afternoon of planting native trees and shrubs in King! Get your hands dirty and help grow the urban forest. 

Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Please wear:

  • Closed-toe shoes or boots - no sandals, please!
  • Gardening gloves, if you have them (we will have extras) 
  • Appropriate clothing – the event runs rain or shine

Bring multiple filled water bottles (there will be no water refill station on site).

Participation is limited. Registration is required and closes Thursday, 16 September, 11:59PM. No day of/walk-in sign ups.

This event will be held in accordance with all municipal and provincial COVID-19 guidelines.
