Celebrate Pollinator Week by helping us improve Whitby’s urban forest and create healthy habitat for our native pollinator friends! Join LEAF at our naturalization site in Whitby Civic Park as we remove invasive species and mulch native trees and shrubs. 

Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. 

Stewardship event will take place from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. 

Please wear: 

  • Closed-toe shoes or boots – no sandals, please! 

  • Long pants and sleeves are recommended 

  • Gardening gloves, if you have them (we will have extras)  

  • Appropriate clothing – the event runs rain or shine 

All LEAF events count toward secondary school volunteer hour requirements. 

 

REGISTRATION REQUIRED
