This event is part of a two part series. We recommend you also sign up for the nature walk event here.

Join us for an interactive workshop to explore how thoughtful garden design can help you conserve water and support local biodiversity!

Together, we’ll dig into practical strategies like choosing drought-tolerant native plants, using mulch to retain moisture and planning your garden to maximize water efficiency. With region-specific insights on soil types and water sources, you’ll gain the tools and confidence to design a vibrant and resilient outdoor space.

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, this workshop will provide an overview of sustainable garden practices that benefit both you and your local environment.

Registration Required

This workshop will take place inside the Nobleton Public Library. The building has accessible entry doors, washrooms and parking. For accessibility questions, please contact Natasha[at]yourleaf.org.

This event is supported by the Regional Municipality of York.
