New at LEAF

On October 13th, students and teachers from Kettle Lakes Public School returned to Grovewood Park, Richmond Hill to plant trees and tend to the trees and shrubs they planted the previous year.

The benefits of trees are countless, including being a great source of pollen and nectar to our native bees. Yet a tree may not be suitable for everyone. If you’re interested in helping our bees thrive but don’t have space for a tree, consider planting shrubs instead! They are perfect for smaller spaces and come with an array of benefits!
