Estimating the Current and Future Benefits of Trees
Curious about the benefits your tree provides? The i-Tree MyTree tool helps you estimate the environmental and economic benefits your trees provide, from improving air quality and capturing carbon to saving energy and enhancing property value.
Developed by the U.S. Forest Service and other partners, this free online tool allows you to select your tree species and size. You can then see the estimated benefits your tree provides to your community and the planet.
Please note: Some species offered by LEAF may not be available in the myTree tool.

Toronto Tree Equity Score Analyzer
In 2024, LEAF collaborated with American Forests, the City of Toronto and local community partners to develop the Toronto Tree Equity Score Analyzer. The tool uses open-source data and other data to generate a map that displays neighbourhood scores ranging from 0 to 100. A lower score indicates a greater need for investment in tree equity initiatives.
The tool helps us understand how human-centered tree plantings can improve health and well-being in Toronto's neighbourhoods.
