Join Forests Canada and LEAF as we kick off Earth Week by planting native trees and shrubs in Meander Park. Help us grow the urban forest in Richmond Hill. All ages welcome!   

Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Planting event will take place from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Please wear:

  • Closed-toed shoes or boots – no sandals, please!
  • Gardening gloves, if you have them (we will have extras) 
  • Appropriate clothing – the event runs rain or shine

All LEAF events count toward secondary school volunteer hour requirements.
