Join LEAF as we cap off Earth Week by planting native trees and shrubs at Fallingbrook Park. Get your hands dirty and help us improve Whitby’s urban forest! All ages welcome.
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Planting event will take place from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Please wear:
- Closed-toed shoes or boots – no sandals, please!
- Gardening gloves, if you have them (we will have extras)
- Appropriate clothing – the event runs rain or shine
All LEAF events count toward secondary school volunteer hour requirements.
