Calling all Toronto youth (Ages 18-29)!
Join us to learn about the Young Ravine Leaders (YRL) Program! This information session will explain what to expect as a participant of the YRL program and how to apply. A recording of the session will be provided to everyone who registers.
About the YRL Program
This unique, free educational and training program will provide knowledge and skills in ravine ecology, urban forestry and environmental stewardship. The hybrid program will offer both online and in-person activities.
The YRL Program is designed to provide an in-depth overview of Toronto’s ravines, community stewardship and career development to youth (ages 18 to 29) who are exploring opportunities in the environmental field.
The program is accessible to all educational backgrounds. Experience in the environmental field is not required.
This program is open to all Toronto youth, at no cost to participants, with priority given to applicants from equity-deserving groups, including (but not limited to) newcomers, gender-marginalized, racialized and 2SLGBTQ+ individuals.
The event will be delivered online and can be accessed through a web browser or an electronic device with the Zoom app. Internet access is required. For accessibility questions, please contact natasha[at]yourleaf.org or call 437-290-7826
This event is funded by the City of Toronto through the Ravine Strategy.
