Join us for a guided tree tour in Vaughan’s North Maple Regional Park! Discover how community planting efforts support biodiversity as we visit a previous LEAF planting site to highlight different species and teach you how to identify them.
This guided walking tour will explore how these plantings contribute to healthier, more resilient local ecosystems while enhancing our appreciation for the diversity of trees in our communities.
The main entrance to the park can be accessed from Keele Street, between Teston and Kirby Road. We will be meeting in the parking lot outside the Recreational Facilities building. Parking is free.
This event will involve walking through the park on paved walkways and uneven grassy surfaces. For accessibility questions, please contact Natasha Jovanovic, Natasha[at]yourleaf.org.
This event is supported by the City of Vaughan.
