LEAF has been growing the urban forest for 30 years! Bring your friends and family to join us in Aurora to plant 1,000 native trees and shrubs at Stewart Burnett Park. All ages welcome.
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Planting event will take place from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Please wear:
- Closed-toed shoes or boots – no sandals, please!
- Gardening gloves, if you have them (we will have extras)
- Appropriate clothing – the event runs rain or shine
All LEAF events count toward secondary school volunteer hour requirements.
