The secret sex lives of trees revealed
(May 25, 2011, Toronto, ON – For Immediate Release) Join LEAF – Local Enhancement & Appreciation of Forests as we host Tony Fleischmann, long time arborist and tree enthusiast, who will be revealing the secret sex lives of trees during a lecture on June 7, 2011, from 7:00 to 8:30pm at the Royal Ontario Museum, Level 1B, Signy and Cléophée Eaton Theatre.
While most of us blindly travel around our cities with little regard to the seething sexuality of the urban forest, Mr. Fleischmann will reveal a veritable red light district outside our doorsteps. After hearing him speak, you will never look at a tree in the same way again. Recommended for those who don't blush easily!
Mr. Fleischmann will speak about:
- Trees – a 400,000,000 year old love affair
- The Birds and the Bees (no really, it’s the birds and the bees)
- Where multiple partners are encouraged
- Stealing a trick from Eve – Forbidden fruit (and nuts)
Tony Fleischmann has worked in the commercial, municipal and utility arboriculture field for over 25 years. He is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture and a Past President of the Ontario Chapter. Tony has presented a variety of seminars, workshops and tree talks to various organizations including the ISA, Canadian Forestry Service, OMNR, Ontario Urban Forest Council, Landscape Ontario, HGTV, Rogers TV, Ontario Parks Association, Composting Council of Canada and Canada Blooms as well as a number of educational institutions.
