Today is GivingTuesday – a global day of giving. After the sales of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday is a time to celebrate and encourage activities that support the work on non-profit organizations. Whether it's making a donation, volunteering your time or spreading the word, GivingTuesday is a movement for everyone who wants to give something back.

 

Here are some fun and easy ways to give back to the urban forest:

 


Donate to LEAF's Urban Forest Fund* and help support our planting and education programs.

 

 



 

Sign up to become a LEAF Volunteer, or better yet, register for LEAF's Tree Tenders Volunteer Training. 

 

 


Purchase a LEAF gift certificate for someone on your gift list who could spruce up their yard with native trees, shrubs and perennials.

 

 

 

 

Or maybe there is a special tree out there who could use some kind words and a promise of fresh mulch next spring...
