There’s no denying it – cities are better with trees. They clean our air, give us shade, offer privacy and buffer noise. They improve our quality of life and even increase our property values. But our trees have been under attack recently. Between insect invaders like Emerald Ash Borer and recent damage caused by the ice-storm, our urban trees are desperately in need of help.

Lifford Wine & Spirits is showing its love of our urban canopy by matching donations made to LEAF’s Urban Forest Fund.  Lifford’s original commitment was to match donations made during Earth Week. We had a great response and because individuals are showing their commitment to the urban forest, Lifford has extended this generous offer to match donations made before the end of Arbor Week - May 11th, 2014 - up to a maximum of $10,000!

Planting Trees

Rebuilding our urban canopy is a big job and we need your help.  Every donation received between now and May 11th, 2014 will be matched, doubling the impact of your contribution! Funds raised will be used to implement on-the-ground education, planting and stewardship projects.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 from you so that we can raise $20,000 in total.  Please help us reach our goal by donating today!
