We’re excited to have the opportunity to present to the Newmarket Environmental Advisory Committee on Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) and our Backyard Tree Planting Program. It’s great that they want to learn more about the damage EAB is causing, what they can do and how planting trees can help!

As part of York Region’s Water For Tomorrow series, we’ll be presenting “A Little TLC for your Trees and Shrubs” at Maple Library (10190 Keele St, Maple, Vaughan) on Wednesday, November 6, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Erin Silverstein will give you tips on planting, pruning, watering and feeding your trees and shrubs. It’s a free event, but registration is recommended!
Fall is an important time to care for your trees and shrubs and to plant new ones in your yard! With the right TLC, they can transform any space, adding beauty, creating habitat for wildlife and supplying us with delicious treats for the rest of the year.
