On Tuesday, we’re hosting a Tree Care 101 workshop, along with Toronto and Region Conservation. Want to learn more about how to take care of trees? Join LEAF’s Mark Sherman, certified arborist and tree climber, learn about the proper care and maintenance of young trees. Topics will include tree selection and planting, as well as how to properly water, mulch, and protect your trees. Mark will even take the group on an outdoor walk to showcase real-life tree care. Gain the knowledge to help give trees a good start, enabling them to survive to a ripe old age! 6pm at the Scarborough Civic Centre.

We’ll finish up the weekend with Sunday at the Ward 27 Community Environment Day, hosted by Councillor Wong-Tam at Allan Gardens.
