Anton Wolek, a LEAF client for nearly nine years, attended our Summer Garden Party for the first time in 2024. There, he was surprised to learn that only one member of our Residential Planting Programs team had ever tasted the elusive and delicious fruit of the pawpaw (Asimina triloba) tree, a native species LEAF offers. Inspired to share his own pawpaw harvest, Anton invited us to experience this unique treat and reflect on his journey as a longtime LEAF client.
