Trees have a deep rooted connection to our past. They carry with them a rich history that helps define us as a society today. One tree in particular, the majestic sycamore (Platanus occidentalis), is uniquely significant and is considered a living relic of our cultural history.

It’s hard to believe it’s already that time of year when we start to bundle up in warm winter clothes to protect ourselves from freezing temperatures, bitter cold winds and flurries of blowing snow.
